The first boxed figure produced by CXR.| CXR Johnny West ~ Outlaw Jesse James BOTW Box The vintage Marx figure was scheduled for release in 1966 but the TV series "The Legend of Jesse James" staring Christopher Jones was canceled just as the molds were completed. The figure was never mass produced. Instead the body was used on other characters, and the head was re-sculpted to create Zeb Zachary. This modern creation is modeled after the unproduced prototype [one of about six in existence]. The head has the original and correct longer sideburns and longer curls in the back. Includes a full set of CXR exclusive pewter weapons. Jesse is offered in a 'Best Of The West' box with artwork from the original Marx concept. |
