I'm currently entertaining offers on purchasing my entire collection of comic books. This is an extensive collection of over 6400 books that I personally bought and read once. For the vast majority of these, I am the original owner.
Each comic is bagged and boarded with acid free boards.
In general, this collection spans the silver and bronze age (1965 - 2003). I've created a database that lists the condition and Overstreet guide price for each book. Please review the list before making an offer. Serious enquiries only. I will not sell this collection for 'pennies on the book' but I will sell it for a price that is fair. I understand that you need to make a profit from reselling some or all of this collection, but offers like $600 are really an insult when you look at the lowest prices that a large number of these books sell for on eBay or at comic book shows. No, they are not worth the 'guide' price of $26,044, but they are worth more than $1,000.
I've used my experience in collecting for over 30 years to grade these books to the best of my ability. The Near Mint grade is used when I purchased the book, read it carefully and stored it. It is just like it came to me from the store. The Very Fine grade is used if there is some minor defect or if I purchased it from another collector at their grade. Fine is used for books that have some defects or were purchased from another collector at their grade. Poor is used for just that, poor condition books. None of these books have been 'professionally' graded.
