Accessories
The shear number and diversity of the Marx accessories is Amazing! I'm constantly finding new color variations and new combinations of accessories. Through the years I've concluded that the various Marx factories that produced these figures did not have a 'corporate - wide' quality control process. This is especially evident in the later years after Quaker Oats bought out the company.It often appears that accessories were bundled together depending on what was available in the factory at that time. I'm not saying this was a poor procedure, it just makes collecting these figures and their accessories even more of a challenge. Now throw in the foreign producers like Canada, United Kingdom, Mexico, Spain and Germany and the variations seem endless.
This section of the site attempts to catalog those variations. I'm working on a picture catalog of all the accessories so look for that in the future, until then, here's what I've got:
