The Figure Wow! The rivets are recessed and the accessories go on nicely. The head is well painted with ice blue eyes. George is a lighter blue than his 60's cousin. Looks more faded. Also his hair is now a much brighter yellow instead of the sandy blond of yesteryear. Geronimo will really want this pretty scalp! The plastic of the body is a little lighter than the original plastic. In fact, the figure I opened for this shot had a hairline split in his back elbow joint. Hmmmmm.....

The Accessories In a word - DOH!:
Marx, Guys / Gals, how could you do this to us?! Here we were waiting patiently for you to issue this classic figure and you blew it! You gave George Armstrong Custer cowboy stuff! Where are the soft Cavalry accessories?
Details:
Scarf and gloves are great - better than the original - nice soft poly plastic in a soft yellow color.
Silver hard accessories are very nice - little softer than originals but nicely done. Black Soft accessories are for cowboys! You get a range hat, canteen, gun belt with holster and spur straps. Looks just like black Johnny West accessories! No cav stuff at all - In fact! The pistol doesn't even fit in the stupid holster! Gadzooks folks what were you thinking? My only hope is that they will fix this and these will become rare variation collectibles (yeah right!).
Marx really missed the boat on this one. Still, the black accessories are nicely done. I'll just have to scrounge up a vintage holster (There goes their prices!) for use by the new George.
